Project Description

Two of the key concepts the Timberland Regional Library board wanted to convey with the district’s new logo were ‘fun’ and ‘community.’ The leaping, simplified figures form the top of a stylized fir tree, a regional symbol of historical importance to the library. The word ‘Library’ is emphasized in the mark because, like many public services, the TRL needs to stand out not against other libraries, but against private sources of entertainment, education, and information.
