Project Description

The Road to Rainier Scenic Byway leads to the main entrance of Mount Rainier National Park, and Byway planners wanted their products to harken to the 1930s style of classic National Park posters. The colors for the document came from a 1938 paint swatch card, and each chapter has an associated color to help users stay oriented in the 126 page document.

Corridor Management Plans are a requirement for Scenic Byways under Washington State and Federal programs. The Road to Rainier CMP was designed to be printable on a home printer or usable as a navigable PDF.
